Rippl, the New Zealand contact tracing app developed by PaperKite was honored in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards for 2021 in the Pandemic Response category.

For a contact tracing app to be effective, it must be widely adopted. We took a privacy-first approach, and translated key parts of Rippl into Te Reo Māori.
